The Ipogeo or the old olivecave was probarbly the beginning of Carrassa. It is the oldest structure of 450 sqm under ground. It host the original mill, the base for the press, fireplace and the quarters for all the workers. We are very lucky that the cave had not been restored but left abandoned for many many years and very intact compared to other cultural structures.
The Ipogeo can be used for events, tastings and ceremonies of all kinds. The ambience and feel is amazing and make you wish you could see what life was all about back then
